YOU ARRIVE SOBER. THE MACHINE DOES THE DREAMING.

On a rain-soaked evening, a patient enters a medical facility seeking help with memory, distress and the burden of existing. A psychiatrist offers an experimental treatment: an AI-assisted neuroprocessing chair designed to make the inner world visible.

Then the room begins to change.

ARTISYK: Psychedelic Dream Emulator is a first-person philosophical exploration game rendered through a vibrant 2.5D engine. Walk through impossible architecture, encounter fragments of thought, manipulate objects through perspective and make choices without knowing whether the program—or the person inside it—fully understands their consequences.

This is not a lecture and there are no officially correct answers.

Story Mode

Journey through 11 chapters exploring anxiety, depression, excitement, grief, relief, faith and doubt, nihilism, medicine, war, hunger, illness, love, mortality and the search for meaning.

Your decisions influence later details and the final treatment report, but the game never reduces a human life to a score, morality meter or single diagnosis.

You can stop, continue, remain silent, reconsider—or simply keep walking.

Free Roam

Enter an endless chain of procedurally generated dream worlds with no ending and no required objective.

Each world generates its own:

  • Indoor, outdoor and hybrid architecture
  • Hills, stairs, terraces, water and impossible spaces
  • Color palette and shifting visual atmosphere
  • Geofractal structures and procedural textures
  • Object proportions and scale behavior
  • Ambient/EDM soundtrack
  • Philosophical wanderers
  • Collectible Fragments
  • Doorways leading into the next generated world

Pick up Relative Forms and ordinary objects, then alter their physical size by changing where they are placed in relation to your perspective.

Free Roam can be explored alone or through experimental eons2eons online sessions for up to eight walkers. Public rooms, private rooms and link codes are supported. Online play remains a developing feature and requires the eonnet service to be available.

Fragments

Scattered throughout Story Mode and Free Roam are 104 floating Fragments: short, collectible reflections covering identity, freedom, control, suffering, compassion, death, attachment, meaning, faith, doubt, love, nature, paradox and responsibility.

The Fragments intentionally disagree with one another.

Together, they form a conversation—not a doctrine.

None are required to finish the game.

Content Note

ARTISYK is a fictional artistic work. Its neuroprocessing chair, treatment and medical technology are inventions created for the story. “Psychedelic” describes the game’s vivid, shifting visual style. The patient remains sober throughout and is never given any substance.

The story discusses anxiety, depression, grief, faith and doubt, war, hunger, illness, love and death. It contains no combat, graphic injury or rapid flashing. Visual intensity, individual effects and reduced motion can be adjusted from Settings at any time.

This game is not medical guidance or a substitute for support from real people.

Development Status

The current build contains a complete playable story and functioning Free Roam mode, but ARTISYK remains in active development.

Future updates may expand procedural environments, perspective interactions, online play, visual effects, writing, performance and accessibility. Existing systems may also change as the project evolves.

Feedback is welcome—especially interpretations, memorable moments and descriptions of what you believed the simulation was actually doing.

AI-Assisted Development Disclosure

ARTISYK was created through extensive human-directed collaboration with generative AI for portions of its code and writing.

The central concept, themes, creative direction, system design, selection, revision and continued development are directed by eons2eons. In-game graphics, textures, music, sound and voice are produced at runtime by self-contained procedural systems rather than downloaded asset packs.
